Golden Knights defenseman Shea Theodore turned 23 last week without a new deal to celebrate.
The restricted free agent’s contract is the final item for general manager George McPhee to complete on his offseason checklist.
“We’ll continue to discuss and see if something can be done that makes sense for both parties,” McPhee said last week after coming to terms with restricted free-agent forward William Karlsson. “We’re still (four) weeks away from camp and two months away from the season, but it’d be nice if we can reach an agreement there and know what to expect going forward.
