Anthony Mantha scored 19 seconds into overtime to lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2 win over the Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night.
The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Knights, who had won 10 of their previous 11 games.
Reilly Smith gave the Knights (42-27-6) their first lead on a short-handed breakaway, only to have Mantha answer 1:06 later on the same power play midway through the third period to even the game 2-2.
Cody Eakin had tied the score 1-1 late in the second period when a rebound fell to him all alone on the far post and he tapped it in past Jimmy Howard.
