Productive day for Vegas Golden Knights at World Championships

The Vegas Golden Knights saw four of their players in action today in Slovakia with two players in particular standing out.

Jonathan Marcessault, who tallied 25 goals and 34 assists for 59 points for the Knights in 2018-19 including a further six points (four goals, two assists) in the postseason, potted a power play goal and was named Player of the Game despite a 3-1 loss for Team Canada against Finland.

And it was a Vegas affair for Marcessault’s goal with Golden Knights teammates Shea Theodore and Mark Stone, who was named an Assistant Captain for Team Canada, getting the helpers.
