NHL Injuries: Penguins, Kings, Knights, Devils, Blackhawks and Senators

Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray will be out for an unknown amount of time due to another concussion.

It’s Murray’s second concussion since February, and third in the past 30 months. His past two concussions have occurred at practice.

Murray will miss Thursday’s game and possibly more.

“It’s at times like these where we’ve to rely on our depth, and we believe in the group that we have,” Sullivan said. “I think both Casey and Tristan have shown that they’re NHL-caliber goalies.”

Jason Mackey: Murray’s concussion history:

April 2016: collision with Philly’s Brayden Schenn, missed 2 games.
