Vegas Golden Knights fans don't want to remember what Kirill Kaprizov did to them in the Stanley Cup playoffs last season. The Russian winger scored five goals and four assists in the series, nearly eliminating the Golden Knights by himself. On Sunday, he got his revenge.
Kaprizov scored the overtime winner for the Wild and sealed the game, 3-2. He was joined on the scoring train by Joel Eriksson Ek and Yakov Trenin. Filip Gustavsson, another haunting ghost of Golden Knights' playoff past, stopped 23 of 25 shots. That was good enough for the win, whereas Vegas ended up with three of four points on a short two-game road trip.
