William Karlsson notched the first hat trick in Golden Knights history to spark a 6-3 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs Sunday at T-Mobile Arena.

With the win, the team’s 26th of their inaugural season, the Knights extended their winning streak to seven games. They own the NHL’s best record at home at 16-2-1.

Karlsson, who also had an assist, scored in each period, the last coming with 1:36 to play as he dove for a loose puck and swatted it into the empty net after Toronto had pulled Frederik Andersen less than a minute earlier.

Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Erik Haula and Jonathan Marchessault also scored as the Knights (26-9-2) remained in first place in the NHL’s Pacific Division with 54 points.
