With one win and one loss in two games behind the bench for the Vegas Golden Knights, the hard work is just about to start for DeBoer.
It starts on Tuesday against the Boston Bruins who, despite cooling off somewhat, are still one of the best teams in the NHL.
Then the real work starts.
Because, after tomorrow, the Golden Knights will get some time off due to the All-Star Break with their next game falling on Jan. 31, against the Carolina Hurricanes.
But, while the players will jet off to all kind of luxurious locations around the globe, DeBoer and his coaching staff will be getting down to work.
