Golden Knights stumble in 2nd period, fall 4-1 to Flyers

The Golden Knights allowed two goals in the final 2:52 of the second period and lost 4-1 to the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday at T-Mobile Arena in the opener of a seven-game homestand.

Brayden McNabb scored in the first period for the Knights (36-15-4, 76 points), who have lost two straight at home for the first time despite outshooting Philadelphia 39-18.

The Flyers’ top line had a hand in three of the team’s four goals.

Sean Couturier finished with a goal and two assists, Claude Giroux had a goal and an assist and linemate Travis Konecny added two assists.
