Golden Knights’ Marc-Andre Fleury earns NHL’s second star

goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury was named the NHL’s second star for the week ending Oct. 8, the league announced Monday.

Fleury was 2-0-0 with a 0.98 goals-against average and a .973 save percentage to help the Knights win the first two games in franchise history.

Fleury made 45 saves in a 2-1 victory over the Dallas Stars in the season opener Oct. 6 and he stopped 27 of 28 shots the following night in a 2-1 overtime win over the Arizona Coyotes.

The 32-year-old Fleury has 377 career victories, which is 15th on the all-time NHL wins list.
