The Vegas Golden Knights might not have won Game 3, but that still doesn’t mean this series is in a bad spot for Vegas. They are still just two wins away from hoisting the Stanley Cup, and they did look like the better team for the most part in Game 3.

The last time the Stanley Cup was handed out after a sweep in the Final was in 1998 when the Detroit Red Wings beat the Washington Capitals. Since then, the Stanley Cup Final has seen each team win at least one game every season, so it was almost guaranteed the Panthers were going to steal one game from Vegas at some point.
