William Karlsson scored the fastest goal to start a game in Golden Knights history on Saturday night when a bouncing puck ricocheted off his stick and into the net just 14 seconds into the game.
It was a sign of things to come as the Knights won their third straight in a 6-0 trouncing of the San Jose Sharks in front of 18,252 fans at T-Mobile Arena.
The Knights equalled their season high with six goals, set on Sunday in a 6-3 win in Edmonton.
Max Pacioretty scored two of the Knights’ four first period goals and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 33 shots to record his second shutout in as many games.
