Reilly Smith and Shea Theodore scored second-period goals 90 seconds apart and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped all 28 shots he faced as the Golden Knights defeated the Nashville Predators 3-0 Tuesday at T-Mobile Arena.
The win, the Knights’ eighth straight, kept them at the top of the Western Conference race with 56 points. They improved to 27-9-2 and have registered at least one point in 13 straight games.
Smith banked the puck off the leg of Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne with 20 seconds remaining on a power play after Nashville was called for having too many men on the ice.
