CALGARY, Alberta -- A day after bidding farewell to Jaromir Jagr, the Calgary Flames will welcome back fellow Czech right winger Micheal Frolik to their lineup against the expansion Vegas Golden Knights.
After Jagr cleared waivers on Monday, the Flames assigned the NHL's second all-time leading scorer to his hometown HC Kladno team in the Czech Republic.
"When he was healthy, he was quite dominant," said Calgary coach Glen Gulutzan in regards to Jagr, who the Flames signed to a one-year, $1 million contract at the start of the regular season.
