LAS VEGAS — The Golden Knights lost to the Edmonton Oilers 1-0. They were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs with the loss. Kasperi Kapanen tapped in a goal in overtime to give the Oilers the win.
The Oilers’ defense limited the Golden Knights’ offense to 24 shots on goal Monday. It was Stuart Skinner’s second straight shutout of the playoffs.
Adin Hill added 29 saves while allowing a goal. The Oilers advance to the Western Conference Finals for the second straight season.
