Golden Knights bruiser Ryan Reaves finally got his hands on longtime nemesis Evander Kane of San Jose late in the third period of Sunday night’s Game 3 of the Western Conference quarterfinal series.
The fight appears to have done little to ease tensions between the bitter rivals.
“For the so-called toughest guy in the league, I don’t know if he landed a punch,” Kane told reporters before Tuesday’s Game 4. “At times, I thought I was fighting the Muffin Man. I expected more of a battle. I was able to handle him. I think he lost a little bit of his allure in terms of toughness.
