The 2022 fourth-round pick (128th overall) had a GAA of 2.68 and a save percentage of .914 in two seasons with Northeastern University, establishing himself as an up-and-coming goaltender. That was also enough to earn him some time with the Henderson Silver Knights, where he played three games.
