Georgia seems to be the early favorite to win the SEC East in 2017 if Jacob Eason improves at quarterback. That is what South Carolina coach Will Muschamp thinks will be the main factor for the team that wins the conference division.
Muschamp said as much Tuesday when he joined The Opening Drive on WJOX-FM in Birmingham. He believes that football’s most important position will determine who goes to Atlanta in early December.
“I think it all goes with the quarterback,” Muschamp said. “I know that Georgia’s got their guy (Jacob Eason) coming back.
