Vandy stomps Detroit 102-52

Wade Baldwin (4) moves the ball as the Vanderbilt Commodores defeated the Austin Peay Governors 80-41 at Memorial Gym November 13, 2015.

Detroit made the first two field goals of the game to jump to a 5-0 lead but then went stone cold, missing 18 of their next 19 shots. Vanderbilt took advantage immediately, and an early run sparked by Wade Baldwin IV gave them a 17-7 lead from which the Titans never recovered.

Vanderbilt head coach Kevin Stallings knows the offensive firepower that Detroit has, specifically from three point range, and his team turned in one of their best defensive performances of the season, holding the Titans to just 23% shooting from the field.
