LB Nigel Bowden was at practice today "at 100 percent" after missing 10 games due to concussions. He was Vandy's top tackler in 2014.

Also back on the field for Vandy were two other likely starters, OT Andrew Jelks and WR C.J. Duncan. Both missed last season, Jelks with a knee injury and Duncan with an Achilles injury. Jelks was a starter at left tackle in 2013 and ’14 as a redshirt freshman and sophomore, while Duncan started as a redshirt freshman in 2014.
Bowden led the Commodores in tackles with 78 in 2014 as a redshirt freshman — earning league all-freshman honors — but he played in only two games this past season before being sidelined by the concussion.
