Austin MacGinnis kicked a 47-yard field goal with 17 seconds to give the Wildcats (7-5) the huge upset over the host Cardinals (9-3). Two week ago, Louisville was in the hunt for a playoff berth; now, after two losses in a row, the Cardinals likely are out of New Year’s Six bowl contention. UK threw for a season-high 352 yards, and the Wildcats had three TD passes covering at least 35 yards. Louisville QB Lamar Jackson accounted for 452 yards of total offense and four TDs, but he also committed four turnovers; he threw three picks, including one on a final-play “Hail Mary.
