Vanderbilt’s Webb, Jelks have exceeded recruiting expectations

College football recruiting rankings aren’t the be-all, end-all when it comes to predicting how student-athletes will perform on the field, but, generally, they can be predicative as to the success of a particular team as a whole. This makes sense in regard to Vanderbilt, considering Vandy – which has won just seven games in the past two seasons – has signed only eight four-star recruits in the past four years.

With that, we take a look at a four Commodore players who have overachieved or underachieved relative to their recruiting rankings.
