The SEC released its weekly awards on Monday, and there’s a Vanderbilt player on them.
Senior kicker Joseph Bulovas made a 38-yard field goal with 19 seconds left in Saturday night’s game at Colorado State to give the Commodores a 24-21 win in Fort Collins. That was good enough for Bulovas to be named the Special Teams Co-Player of the Week. Bulovas shared the honor with South Carolina kicker Parker White, who also nailed a game-winner on Saturday in the Gamecocks’ 20-17 win at East Carolina.
In two games this season, the graduate transfer from Alabama leads Vanderbilt in scoring with nine points after converting a 53-yard field goal attempt against ETSU.
