Vanderbilt selling naming rights for Vanderbilt Stadium

There’s no way this can possibly end badly.

Since the last major renovations in 1981, Vanderbilt’s home football field has simply been known as the extremely generic Vanderbilt Stadium (though the playing surface is still called Dudley Field, an homage to the original football stadium that stood on the current site which was built in 1922.) It isn’t even named for any person, except for technically Cornelius Vanderbilt by extension.

So I guess you could come up with a better name for it, but we’re gonna sell naming rights to the highest bidder.
