Counting up the first place votes, there were 285 votes in this poll, and at least 62 percent of them picked the Commodores to finish last in the East. This is starting to feel like the 1990s: Vanderbilt is picked last and no explanation is needed, just a “because they’re Vanderbilt.”
Georgia was a nearly unanimous pick to win the East, receiving 271 of 285 first-place votes.
