Vanderbilt basketball season opener to be televised on SEC Network

Good news! You won’t have to figure out how to watch the SEC Network+ this week.

The Vanderbilt Commodores will host the Valparaiso Crusaders on Friday, November 27, to open the 2020-21 season. We learned today that the game will tip off at 6:00 PM CT, and even better, the game will be televised on the SEC Network.

Jerry Stackhouse enters his second season as Vanderbilt’s head coach coming off an 11-21 season that saw the Commodores lose their best player — Aaron Nesmith, drafted 14th overall by the Boston Celtics last week — to injury in the first game of SEC play, but they still managed to win three SEC games led by Saben Lee, who was a second-round pick in the NBA Draft.
