Vanderbilt’s athletic program has launched a donation drive to bring relief to victims of Louisiana’s recent flooding.
The school has launched a donation drive to last all day Friday, from 7 a.m.-5 p.m., gathering supplies for those affected by the flood. Donors are encouraged to bring items to the southwest corner of Vanderbilt Stadium (Gate 2) or the McGugin Center, which houses the athletic administrative offices and weight rooms.
The drive aims to collect bottled water, clothing, school supplies, sheets, blankets and towels. The goods collected will be shipped to Baton Rouge, where LSU is located, to be distributed by the mayor’s office.
