David Williams, Vanderbilt’s athletic director for the last 15 years, has announced his retirement effective at the end of the 2018-19 academic calendar.
Here is the full statement from Vanderbilt. Evidently Williams wanted to retire at the end of last year but decided to stay on for one last year at the request of Nick Zeppos.
