Vanderbilt’s commitment list has more than doubled in the past two days. Three-star offensive tackle Bryce Bailey and three-star athlete McLane Mannix committed to the Commodores on Thursday, becoming the Commodores’ fourth and fifth 2017 pledges.
Bailey made his commitment via Twitter.
Bailey (6 feet 5, 290 pounds) is from Newburgh (Ind.) Castle and chose the Commodores over Cincinnati, Illinois and Louisville, among others. Mannix (5-10, 175), from Midland (Texas) High, picked Vandy over Air Force and Amry.
Bailey is the second offensive tackle in as many days to commit to Vandy; on Wednesday, two-star tackle Grant Miller (6-4, 278) of powerhouse Fort Lauderdale (Fla.
