In one game, Vanderbilt caught fire from beyond the arc. In another game, Vanderbilt got good production inside even if they couldn’t hit from outside. In a third game, Vanderbilt’s defense smothered the other team.
In all three games, Vanderbilt beat Florida, and I think that’s the most important thing here. If we’re being generous, Florida is the third-most-disliked team in the SEC for Vanderbilt fans (fourth if you’re me, because Ole Miss), but it always feels good to beat a rival three times. It’s the first time that Vanderbilt has beaten Florida three times in one season since 1989-90.
