Two of Tim Corbin's brightest recruits might not ever make it to campus after being selected early in the 2016 MLB Draft.

We're only 10 picks into the 2016 MLB Draft, but it's already been a good night for Vanderbilt recruits. High school pitchers Ian Anderson and Braxton Garrett both heard their names called early in the league's annual selection process.

Anderson, a wire right handed pitcher from Clifton Park, NY, was the third overall pick by the Atlanta Braves. He'll join a farm system that already includes Vanderbilt veteran Dansby Swanson. Garrett, a lefty with a bigger frame than Anderson, was selected seventh by the Miami Marlins.
