Two Vanderbilt linemen (but not Tua Tagovailoa) make Polynesian player watch list

Tua Tagovailoa may be the SEC’s most high-profile player with a Polynesian background, but two Vanderbilt Commodores are the ones on a national watch list.

The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame selected Vanderbilt center Sean Auwae-McMoore and defensive lineman Nifae Lealao to its watch list for the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year award.

Auwae-McMoore, a redshirt freshman center, and Lealao, a senior defensive lineman, are expected to see some regular action this season for the Commodores.
