Aug 28, 2014: After a 1.5 hour delay due to incliment weather, the Vanderbilt Commodores suffered a 37-7 loss to the Temple University Owls at Dudley Field.
Having faced a couple tough SEC defenses already this season, Webb has been Vanderbilt’s most consistent offensive weapon but has yet to have a breakout game, as opposing defenses have been able to stack the box against him. Still, he has managed 87 yards per game at 4.0 yards a carry through the first five games. With the Gamecocks allowing 207 yards per game on the ground this year, including 400 just last week against LSU, look for the Commodores to feed Webb early and often on Saturday.
