Snow day (or, at LSU, Sneaux Day): Winter comes to SEC territory

Did the SEC and Big Ten work out some kind of a trade this winter? Since the SEC got its second slot in the College Football Playoff, one that normally goes to the Big Ten champion, the conference has seen more than its share of Midwest-style snow.

The winter weather came back to schools across the SEC on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the scenes at SEC fans’ favorite football venues were hard to top.

Some of the most dramatic pictures came, not surprisingly, from LSU. Snow doesn’t happen often in Baton Rouge, but when it does, it makes for a new look for Tiger Stadium:
