Auburn 38, Mississippi State 14
The Tigers (4-2 overall, 2-1 in the SEC) scored touchdowns on three of their first four possessions en route to a 35-0 halftime lead and rolled to the easy win over the Bulldogs (2-3, 1-2). Backup RB Kamryn Pettway rushed for 169 yards and three TDs on 39 carries for Auburn; starting RB Kerryon Johnson suffered an injury in the first quarter and didn’t return. Auburn outgained Mississippi State 432-289. The Tigers scored two TDs in a span of nine seconds late in the second quarter to end any doubt about the outcome.
