Multiple Vanderbilt football players opt out of 2020 season

If Vanderbilt plays football in 2020, it will be without four players who started games in 2019, per a report from ESPN’s Chris Low.

Linebacker Dimitri Moore, the team’s leading tackler in 2019, has opted out of the season, as have offensive linemen Johnathan Stewart, Cole Clemens, and Bryce Bailey. A quote from Derek Mason in the story — stating that “we’ve had five or six opt out” — suggests that those may not be the only players.

Anyway, the 2020 season, if it happens, is going to be a shit show, but then we already knew that.
