Week 8 is when the SEC’s run of bye weeks begins; five SEC teams (Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and Missouri) will be off on October 23 — and Arkansas is playing Arkansas-Pine Bluff for a virtual bye week. That game will be the 11 AM SEC Network game; CBS for some reason picked up LSU-Ole Miss, which feels like it could be Ed Orgeron’s last game as LSU’s head coach (somehow, he still has his job after a 42-21 loss at Kentucky on Saturday.
