2021 Record: 1-2. The Red Grimaces opened 2021 with a three game home series against the North Dakota State Poutin’ Carson Wentzes. As they are just a quick drive from Nashville, the Red Grimaces had to deal with frigid temperatures and snow, this weekend, as well. As such, they played one on Sunday and two on Monday. The Poutin’ Wentzes, being more used to playing in the cold, took the Red Grimaces to the woodshed on both ends of the double-header, winning 8-5 and 10-2 to take the series.
