Matthew Fisher-Davis has played his last college game

Adam Sparks at the Tennessean reports less than an hour before the Tennessee game what we’ve suspected for a few days: Matthew Fisher-Davis’s Vanderbilt career is over. (Also reported on vucommodores.com.)

Fisher-Davis injured his shoulder during the Kentucky game and missed both games last week, a loss at Mississippi State and a win over LSU at Memorial Gym. According to Sparks, Fisher-Davis will undergo surgery on Friday morning and the expected recovery time is six months.

Prior to the injury, the senior from Charlotte was averaging 11.9 ppg and shooting 33.
