So if you’re like me, you really had no idea what the “Shamrock Series” was, but thanks to our CFB sister site, I’ve learned that it’s what Notre Dame calls the neutral site games they’ve played over roughly the last decade. Notre Dame apparently has gone with alternate jerseys made by their uniform supplier, Under Armor, for these games.
This year, the “Shamrock Series” game is against Syracuse but played in Yankees Stadium. So naturally, Under Armor decided to pay homage to the Yankees in making Notre Dame’s uniforms...
