Playing for one of the top high school basketball teams in Pittsburgh and dominating Ivy League competition at Cornell University, Nolan Cressler has been a top player for the last few years.
Leading the Big Red in scoring with 16.8 points per game with a 36 percent shooting on three-pointers shot during his sophomore year, Cressler made himself known as a force to be reckoned with in every basketball game. However, Cressler’s heroics often were in vain due to Cornell’s finishing 2-26 in the 2013-14 season.
And yet, Cressler, now a junior guard for the Vanderbilt Commodores, decided he wanted more and made the decision to transfer to the SEC school with similar academics.
