The Florida Gators were down by one at home against SEC opponent Vanderbilt. The Vanderbilt Commodores had played a great defensive game for 56 minutes and 23 seconds before the new Florida kicker hit the go ahead field goal. Florida’s hard-nosed defense was then tasked with containing Vanderbilt’s offense and keeping them from scoring.
