There were a lot of noteworthy performances. The problem: The vast majority came in un-noteworthy games. But we have soldiered on and picked a top three. The No. 1 performance came in the weekend’s biggest game.
3. Vanderbilt RB Ralph Webb
The skinny: Vandy may not get to the six wins needed for bowl eligibility, but Saturday night’s win over Ole Miss means the Commodores may not have to. Vandy’s APR score is such that if there aren’t enough six-win teams to fill all the bowl slots, the Commodores would be near the top of the list of fill-in five-win teams.
