We should have seen this coming during the early signing period.
Miles Jones, a three-star athlete out of Plantation, FL, committed to Vanderbilt back in March, but he didn’t sign during the December signing period and on Tuesday night announced that he had decommitted from the Commodores.
It’s not terribly difficult to figure out why.
Jones was fairly lightly recruited in early 2017, but blew up during his senior year (Rivals actually increased his rating to four stars) and that resulted in some new offers, including Nebraska after Scott Frost took the head coaching job there.
