Justice had appeared in seven games this season for the Commodores and played a total of 65 minutes, scoring 12 points and shooting 4-of-16 from the floor. He also got the dreaded “DNP” in three of the Commodores’ last five games and played a grand total of 11 minutes in that stretch.
Plus, Drew signing two guards in the fall signing class (Max Evans and Saben Lee) and bringing in a transfer guard in Larry Austin Jr. seemed to be a not-so-subtle message to the current guards on the roster.
If we’re being completely honest with ourselves, in the long term, this probably won’t hurt the program much.
