Bryce Drew landed the first commitment of his Vanderbilt coaching tenure on Monday night when four-star point guard Saben Lee gave the Commodores his verbal bond.

Lee is a 6'1, 175 pound guard from Tempe, AZ. ESPN rates him as a four-star recruit and as the nation's 30th-best point guard. Rivals.com pegs him as a three-star player.

He'll have to add some weight, but Lee is an athletic guard who can slash to the rim and defend effectively thanks to his solid lateral movement and long arms. He's a good finisher as a high school player, but he'll need to prove he can score against bigger, more athletic opponents when he gets to the SEC.
