Tennessee’s loss is Vanderbilt’s gain: Four-star safety Brendon Harris, formerly in line to join the Vols, has flipped to the Commodores.
Brendon Harris announced his commitment via Twitter on Tuesday night. Harris did not post a tweet, but updated his profile to describe himself as a “Vanderbilt University commit,” adding an “Anchor Down” emoji.
Harris made the call only three weeks after decommitting from Tennessee.
Harris (6 feet 0, 205 pounds), from Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School, is one of the top 20 safeties nationally, one of the top 10 prospects in Tennessee and a national top-250 recruit.
