The SEC football season is only a few hours away.
This year will be a make-or-break opportunity for several coaches entering on the hot seat including Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin and Tennessee’s Butch Jones.
Both coaches start the season with the highest odds of being fired among SEC coaches according to BetOnline.AG.
Sumlin and Jones both have +140 odds, while Auburn’s Gus Malzahn (+600), LSU’s Ed Orgeron (+800) and Derek Mason (+1200) round out the top (or in this case bottom) 5.
Unsurprisingly, Nick Saban has the lowest odds at +5,000, although he is tied with his former protege Kirby Smart.
