Vanderbilt soccer closed out its nonconference schedule with a 3-0 win over Georgia State on Sunday, extending their winning streak to seven games and improving their record on the season to 7-1. Grace Jackson, Haley Hopkins, and Olivia Simmons scored goals for the Commodores, who will open SEC play at Florida next Sunday.

Women’s golf was off to a good start yesterday at the Powerade Cougar Classic in Charleston, shooting eight under par before things were delayed by weather. They’ll pick up again today.

Football picked up a commitment on Sunday from cornerback Gabe Jeudy of Charlotte, who was previously a Rice commit.
