Baseball got back in the win column last night in spite of Kumar Rocker surrendering six runs in a 9-6 win over Alabama in the series opener. Rocker, somehow, gave up six runs while also striking out 13 batters, which is not something you see every day. The Hustler has more. The Commodores and Crimson Tide will meet again today at 2 PM CT.
Women’s tennis advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with yesterday’s 4-0 win over Ball State in the first round of the Columbus Regional (a score that could have been a lot worse; Vanderbilt was leading on the remaining three courts when the match was clinched.
