Good morning.
Entering the final round of the rain-shortened stroke play portion of the NCAA Championship, we can fairly safely say that the Vanderbilt women’s golf team will not be competing in the eight-team match play event for the title. The Commodores finished Sunday 28 strokes out of eighth place, which makes today’s round with Indiana (tied with the Commodores at 635) and Tennessee (in dead last with 638) a little bittersweet.
The women’s tennis team may have ended its season with a loss to Georgia, but Fernanda Contreras and Christina Rosca are competing in the NCAA individual championships starting today.
